RB and I have not posted in a long time... probably because we've been busy trying to make sure we graduate. We are currently both pulling all- (or in my case semi-) nighters, writing papers about jazz musicians John Coltrane and Ornette Coleman for our class with Anthony Braxton. We may be lamenting our droopy eyelids, the quietness of surroundings when everyone else is fast asleep, or the result of mental calculations of how much more time it will take to write the required pages. But secretly, (though less so now), I'm enjoying it.
Who were we kidding? I asked RB on gchat just now. Its only appropriate that we finish up our coursework the same way we did it all along.

i am so tired and i feel so lucky that this gets to be my life. i am writing about coltrane's healthy and unhealthy addictions and wondering.. if we all have the capacity for greatness (hint: i think we do)
